“Sunday to Sunday on Monday” | A Virtual Town Hall Conversation with Fr. Bob about his Sunday Homily | Monday, June 28, 7pm

Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet | Praying for the Unborn | Sunday, January 30, 2022

You may recall that Fr. Bob & Presentation were featured in an episode of “Sunday to Sunday,”** which was filmed in September 2019. The series presents case studies about preaching by listening to preachers in their own words and hearing samples of their efforts. You can view this episode at https://sundaytosunday.net/episodes/father-bob-stagg/.

Fast forward to 2021 – Fr. Mike Russo and the “Sunday to Sunday” team have asked Presentation to pilot a new program, “Sunday to Sunday on Monday,” which is a post-Sunday discussion of the preacher’s homily. Fr. Bob’s homily on the June 26-27 weekend will be recorded and you will have an opportunity to participate in a “virtual town hall” conversation and dive a little deeper into the sermon.

Fr.  Bob and Fr. Mike Russo will join you for the webinar discussion — via Zoom on Monday, June 28 at 7:00pm. No RSVP necessary – the invitation link is below, and please, join us for the live event .

** Sunday to Sunday is a 2020 Emmy Winner for “Outstanding Interview Program.”

Book Discussion of “Caste: The Origins of our Discontents” | June 7

Our Justice & Peace Ministry invites everyone to a discussion of “Caste: The Origins of our Discontents” by Isabel Wilkerson on Monday, June 7, 7:30pm-9:00pm via Zoom.

Published in August 2020, Wilkerson’s book gives a portrait of an unseen phenomenon in America and uses a deeply researched narrative and stories to explore how America today and throughout its history has been shaped by a hidden caste system, a rigid hierarchy of human rankings.

Registration is required by clicking here. After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with information on how to join the book discussion meeting.

Please feel free to contact Catzel at catzel@churchofpresentation.org or 201-327-1313 ext. 828 with any questions.

Worship Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines, which outlines the changes we’ve made to keep you safe while worshipping at Mass with us.

If you are not donating to the church electronically yet through Faith Direct, we ask that you drop your offering in one of the baskets conveniently located in the narthex when you enter the church. There will be no passing of the baskets for the offertory collection during Mass.

Only the front entrance to the church (the narthex) is open to allow entry.

You will be directed to your seats and please sit where you’re “assigned.” Rest rooms are available should you need them.

Masks are required to be worn for the entire Mass.

For health reasons, we cannot allow any food or beverages to be consumed (by you or your children) while you are in the church.

When receiving Communion, please keep your mask on when the host is placed in your hands by the priest or eucharistic minister. After you receive the host, you may step to the side (keeping social distancing in mind) and adjust your mask for a brief moment to put the host in your mouth.

Immediately following each mass, the church will be disinfected.

Canned Food Drive: Now through May 9

The Presentation Knights of Columbus is promoting a Canned Food Drive to benefit the Tri-Boro Food Pantry in Park Ridge. They are asking each family for donations of 2-4 cans (or more) of a vegetable, fruit, or tuna. Ther will be a bin near the Community Room entrance for your donations.
