On Monday, June 29 at 7:00pm, Beth Lawrence will guide us in honoring the Divine by praying under the light of the full moon. We will begin with drumming & guided meditation; and as the moon’s light guides us, may we recognize our own light as we walk our path together. Our labyrinth is on the north side of the parish’s property. No RSVP necessary.
The Labyrinth is a pathway of ancient design, emblemantic of the spiritual journey. Our Labyrinth is an 11-circuit medieval Labyrinth, a replica of the 13th century design found in Our Lady of Notre Dame Cathedral in Chartres, France. The Labyrinth offers a unique way to pray and can open one to the deep sense of the Sacred. They are found in many religious traditions and cultures. Walking the Labyrinth serves many purposes, including healing, discernment and giving thanks. The spiraling motion with its gentle right and left turns can relax and center the mind. A Labyrinth is not a maze; it has only one path and requires no decisions except to enter and walk. Join us!
