Divorced/Separated
The Separated/Divorced Ministry offers a "safe place" during a critical transition in the lives of those newly separated or divorced. During the eight-week sessions offered twice a year, we provide a prayerful transition from feelings of hurt and loss toward an eventual restructuring of life while leading to deeper faith. The sessions are based on the premise that through sharing ones thoughts, feelings and experiences with others in similar situations, the healing process will begin. Sessions are small group gatherings led by parishioners who have this life experience and are trained as facilitators.
Second Step/Life After Divorce
After the difficult, emotional and sometimes quite sad experience of separation and divorce, how do we move into our new lives with grace and dignity? Second Step is about confronting and discussing the issues that arise after divorce. This is a safe environment to create a support system that is uniquely your own. This is an eight-week program with a series of round table discussions with a “loose” format customized to meet the individual needs of the newly single divorcée.
